DRDO Recruitment 2024: The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has announced recruiting for Apprentice posts (graduate, diploma and ITI). Interested and eligible candidates can submit their applications online via the official DRDO website: drdo.gov.in.
This recruitment drive aims to fill 200 vacancies within the organization. The registration process began on September 24 and will close 21 days after the advertisement is published in the newspaper. To qualify, candidates must be at least 18 years old as of August 1, 2024. Only regular candidates who have completed their qualifying examinations (Graduate, Diploma, and ITI trade apprentices) in 2022, 2023, or 2024, with a minimum score of 60%, are eligible to apply.

DRDO Recruitment 2024: Vacancy Details
DRDO has released a total of 200 vacancies for apprentice recruitment. Eligible and interested candidates may apply for these vacancies. There are 40 vacancies for Graduate Apprentices, 40 for Technician Apprentices, and 120 for Trade Apprentices, which require ITI-qualified candidates.

Educational Qualification
- For Graduate Apprentice: Candidates must have completed a BE/BTech in [ECE, EEE, CSE, Mechanical, Chemical] from a recognized university or institute approved by the Government of India or its regulatory bodies.
- For Technician Apprentice (Diploma): A diploma in [ECE, EEE, CSE, Mechanical, Chemical] is required.
- For Trade Apprentice: Applicants must have passed ITI (NCVT/SCVT affiliation) in Fitter, Welder, Turner, Machinist, Mechanic-Diesel, Electronics Mechanic, Electrician, or COPA (Computer Operator and Programming Assistant) to be eligible for this position.
DRDO Recruitment 2024: Selection Process
Candidates will be selected based on academic merit and/or an interview, as required, following successful document verification. Shortlisted candidates will be notified via the email provided in their application. Additionally, candidates must bring both original and self-attested copies of their documents during the document verification or joining process.
