JEE Main 2025 Registration Underway, Check List Of Documents Required To Apply

Candidates can apply for the JEE Main 2025 Session-1 until November 22, 2024 at the official website – jeemain.nta.nic.in.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has commenced the application process for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the JEE Main 2025 January session on the official website – jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates will require a valid e-mail address and mobile phone number to register for the JEE Main 2025. Candidates can check the application procedure, scanned documents required to upload and other important details below.

JEE Main 2025: Documents To Upload

To fill out the JEE Main 2025 application form, the candidate needs to upload the following documents with the specifications mentioned below

1. Upload scanned images of the candidate’s photograph, signature, Class X or Equivalent Certificate/Marks-sheet and PwD/PwBD Certificate (wherever applicable).

2. The recent passport-size photograph should be in colour with 80% face (without mask) visible including ears against a white background. The photograph should be named as ‘Photograph’ and in JPG/JPEG format (clearly legible) between 10 kb to 300 kb.

3. Signature file should be named ‘Signature’ and in JPG/JPEG format (clearly legible) between 10 kb to 50 kb.

4. A scanned copy of Class X or Equivalent Certificate/Marks-sheet should be named as ‘Class-X Certificate’ and should be a pdf between 10 kb to 300 kb (clearly legible).

5. A scanned copy of the PwD/PwBD certificate should be named as ‘Disability Certificate’ and should be a pdf between 10 kb to 300 kb (clearly legible).

How To Apply For JEE Main 2025?

Step 1: Visit the official website – jeemain.nta.nic.in

Step 2: On the homepage click on the link that reads, “Online Application Form for JEE (Main) – 2025 Session-1″

Step 3: Now click on the “New Registration” tab and register with the required details

Step 4: Now login with system generated registration number and password and fill in the application form

Step 5: Pay the application fee and submit the application form

Step 6: Take a printout of the application form and keep it for future reference

JEE Main 2025 Exam Pattern

JEE Main 2025 Paper 1 which is common for BE/Btech courses will comprise 75 questions for 300 marks. Section A will have 60 multiple choice questions (MCQs) and 15 questions in section B, for which numerical values can be used to answer. The question paper will be conducted for 3 hours in CBT mode. Candidates must note that the NTA has changed the JEE Main paper pattern to its pre-COVID-19 format and section B now has only 5 questions, of which are all compulsory.

NTA will conduct the JEE Main 2025 in two sessions — January and April. JEE Main 2025 January exam is tentatively scheduled to be conducted between January 22 to January 31, 2025.JEE Main 2025 will be conducted in 13 languages, that is, English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
