SSC MTS Tier I Exam Overview
The examination saw significant changes this year, with the introduction of a two-session Computer-Based Test (CBT) format. Candidates were required to attempt both sessions—failure to do so led to disqualification. A total of 90 multiple-choice questions were asked in the exam.
Each question carried three marks. Out of these total questions, 40 were asked in session 1 and 50 in session 2. There was no negative marking in the first session but one mark will be deducted for each wrong answer given in the second session. Candidates were given 90 minutes to solve all the questions.
SSC MTS Expected Cut-Off Marks List
The commission will release SSC MTS Cut-Off Marks along with the results. Candidates need to score marks more than these cut-off marks to qualify for the exam. Separate cut-offs will be decided for separate age groups. Here we have added an expected cut-off marks list as given below.
